RIM Acquires Mobile Software Firm Cellmania

The purchase brings the smartphone provider app store development expertise.

PC Magazine: BlackBerry maker Research in Motion (RIM) has announced the purchase of mobile software vendor Cellmania. Cellmania sells mFinder, a content management solution with features for tracking app downloads and subscriptions. RIM said Cellmania's team "is bringing their expertise in application store front development to the BlackBerry platform."

The purchase price was not disclosed.
