A new survey says more than 60 percent of people have yelled or swore out loud at a piece of technology.

Gigaom: A new Harris Interactive poll reveals that more than half of Americans have done something "out of character" because they were frustrated by waiting for a piece of technology. More than 60 percent said they had yelled or swore out loud for the same reason.

The Intel-financed study names the problem "Hourglass syndrome."
