40 Windows Apps Contain Critical Bug, Researcher Warns

Apple's iTunes used to have the bug, but it has been patched.

InfoWorld: HD Moore, creator of Metasploit, warned that at least 40 Windows applications contain a critical vulnerability. He declined to name the affected applications, but did say that Apple had patched the hole which used to exist in iTunes.

Slovenian security firm Acros has posted a warning about the vulnerability and says it will provide additional details to corporate and government customers who sign a non-disclosure agreement.
