NetApp Revenue Grows 36% in Q1

The storage vendor said sales grew 51 percent compared to last year.

NetworkWorld: Data storage vendor NetApp has released quarterly earnings for its first fiscal quarter of 2011. Compared to twelve months earlier, sales were up 51 percent to $1.14 billion, and overall revenue climbed 36 percent. Total income nearly tripled the prior year's, hitting $142 million.

"Our results indicate we are achieving clear customer preference as IT organizations transform their data centers," said NetApp CEO Tom Georgens.
