CIO.com: According to surveys from Dice, the IT Monitor and TEKsystems, companies are planning to add to their IT payroll. The most recent Dice Report found that 71 percent of firms plan to hire more tech workers in the second half of 2010 than they did in the first half, with more than half planning to hire at least 10 people.
The IT Monitor found 37 percent of companies it surveyed planned to hire more IT staff during the second half of the year. While that's not as rosy as the Dice survey, it's an 11 percent improvement over the previous year.
TEKsystems found that temporary staffing is also up, with 29 percent of businesses planning to add temporary IT workers this quarter.
