Symbian Claims to Sell 50% More Phones Daily Than Android

Android may sell 200,000 handsets per day, but Symbian sells 300,000.

Daily Tech: Google's Android may be in first place in U.S. smartphone sales, but Nokia's Symbian is number one worldwide. Although Google recently claimed 200,000 sales of Android phones per day, Symbian sells 300,000 per day.

The Symbian operating system appears on several Nokia handsets, as well as some made by Sony Ericsson.
