Service in neighboring UAE will be cut off October 11.

Computerworld: Two middle eastern countries are threatening to cut off BlackBerry service because Research in Motion's security policies do not comply with regulations. Currently, Research in Motion does not provide a way for government officials to examine the contents of transmissions sent on BlackBerry devices. Saudi Arabia says BlackBerry use will be suspended in the country beginning this Friday. United Arab Emirates will stop service October 11. The service disruption would likely affect 500,000 UAE customers and 700,000 in Saudi Arabia.

Research in Motion is also in talks with India regarding the same issue.
