18,000 users have downloaded a browser add-on that stole log-in credentials.

Cnet: Mozilla says it has disabled a Firefox add-on called "Mozilla Sniffer" and added the program to its block list. The software stole users' password credentials when they logged on to a variety of Web sites.

The 18,000 users who downloaded Mozilla Sniffer in the past five weeks will be prompted to uninstall it, but they should also change their passwords for any sites they have visited since they downloaded the add-on.
