Don't Buy Apple's iPhone 4, Consumer Reports Warns

The magazine does not recommend purchasing the smartphone because of reception issues.

NetworkWorld: Because of a loss of reception that can occur when users touch the lower left corner of the iPhone 4, Consumer Reports has declined to recommend the Apple phone. "Due to this problem, we can't recommend the iPhone 4," the company's Mike Gikas wrote in a blog post.

Gikas dismissed claims that the reception problem was caused by a software glitch or AT&T's network. He noted that users can solve the problem by putting duct tape on the bottom of the phone.
