CIOs Admit They Can't Assess Apps Usage

A new survey from Centrix software shows that at least a quarter of British companies can't analyze how often applications are being used.

NetworkWorld: In a survey conducted by Centrix Software, one quarter of British CIOs admitted they couldn't tell how often workers accessed applications. In addition, a third of those surveyed said it would be difficult or impossible to figure out how much applications were costing their companies.

Centrix noted that this lack of awareness could make it difficult for enterprises to transition to a virtualized environment.
