Microsoft IE Has Record Gains In Browser Market Share

Firefox usage declines; Chrome continues to grow, but more slowly.

TechWorld: According to Net Applications, 60.3 percent of browser users chose Microsoft Internet Explorer in June. That was a 0.6 percent jump from the month before--a record by Net Applications' data.

Firefox decline 0.5 percent for the month to 23.8 percent. Opera usage also declined.

Chrome usage increased 0.2 percent, but that's only about half the growth it's been averaging in recent month. Safari also made small gains.
