The country's BPO revenue increase 6 percent in the last fiscal year, despite the recession, and it's on track to grow even faster this year.

CIO.com: The National Association of Software and Service Companies (Nasscom) has announced that the Indian Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry increased by 6 percent year-over-year for the fiscal year ending in March 2010. For the current fiscal year, Nasscom expects the industry to grow 15 to 16 percent.

However, as business increases, staffing could pose a challenge. Attrition has risen between 8 and 10 percent in the past year, and Nasscom believes wages may rise as much as 10 to 20 percent this year.
