Twitter 'Funniest Video' Link Hides Malware Threat

Zombie accounts are publishing links to a site which downloads a keylogger and a banking trojan onto users' systems.

The Guardian: At least 1,600 users have already fallen victim to a new attack being spread by fake Twitter accounts. The "zombie" accounts are posting notes which read "haha this is the funniest video ive EVER SEEN!" and a link. The link connects users to site which downloads a keylogger and a trojan which searches for banking information.

Twitter users are cautioned to be careful when clicking on links in posts.
