CEO Mark Hurd says the company plans to integrate the OS it acquired with Palm into a whole lineup of products.

Daily Tech: During a conference call discussing HP's quarterly earnings, CEO Mark Hurd explained that the company has big plans for webOS, the mobile operating system it acquired when it purchased Palm. We expect to leverage WebOS into a variety of form factors, including ‘slates’ and Web-connected printers."

Despite the very public switch from Microsoft's mobile operating system to webOS, Hurd insists that relations between Redmond and HP continue to be very good.
