Wall Street Journal: For weeks, Facebook has been under fire from users and privacy advocates who found fault with some of the social networking site's changes to its privacy policies. Now unnamed sources say that the site may roll out changes to its privacy settings this week.
If Facebook doesn't act soon, it may come under fire from government regulators. "We agree that social networks provide a valuable consumer service, but that they also raise privacy concerns," a Federal Trade Commission spokesperson said.
Sources say the inner circle at Facebook has been working long hours as they contemplate possible solutions for the privacy problems.
