Acer to Launch Chrome OS Devices in Two Weeks

The netbook will show off devices using Google's operating system at Computex Taipei.

VentureBeat: "Multiple sources" are saying that Acer will show off devices featuring Google's Chrome OS at Computex Taipei, but they aren't saying what those devices will be. Chrome was designed for netbooks, and Acer's Eee has been one of the most successful on the market. However, the OS could also run on a tablet, and Chrome has also announced plans to make an iPad competitor.

The Computex Taipei show opens June 1.
