cnet: Users who rely on Google Apps to track their appointments have a good excuse for missing appointments these days. On Thursday, Google Calendar went offline for most users; that marks the second outage for the service in just three days.
Google got the app back online relatively quickly, but didn't immediately explain the reason for the outage. A statement said, "We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and continued support. Please rest assured that system reliability is a top priority at Google, and we are making continuous improvements to make our systems better."
