Computerworld: Security researchers at BitDefender say that hackers are targeting iPad owners with a new scam. Users have reported receiving an e-mail which reads, "It is very important to keep the software on your iPad updated for best performance, newer features and security. To get the latest version of iTunes software, please go to ... and install the application."
The link takes those who click to a copycat iTunes site which downloads a Trojan onto their iPads.
The malware does not infect Macs or other Apple devices, only iPads.
