The saga of the lost iPhone 4G continues: Gizmodo publishes photos of the guy who lost it, along with a copy of Apple's letter asking for their phone back.

Gizmodo: Over the weekend, rumors swirled about a possible next-generation iPhone found in a bar. Now Gizmodo has published photos of the poor guy who lost the prototype, along with details of how it happened.

The article links to a copy of Apple's letter requesting the return of the device, which reads: "It has come to our attention that GIZMODO is currently in possession of a device that belongs to Apple. This letter constitutes a formal request that you return the device to Apple. Please let me know where to pick up the unit."
