After Attacks, Oracle Patches Java Bug

One week after a vulnerability went public, Oracle has released an update that fixes the security hole in Java.

NetworkWorld: About a week ago, Google researcher Tavis Ormandy went public with his discovery of a flaw in Java which could allow hackers to sneak malicious software onto a computer. Oracle initially said the potential exploit wasn't serious enough for an emergency patch, but that was before hackers launched an attack on that exploited the vulnerability.

On Thursday, Oracle released Java SE 6 version 20 update, which fixes that security flaw along with two others.
