Apple Reportedly Planning a Smaller-Size iPad for 1Q11

Digitimes research says the 5- to 7-inch version will sell for less than $400.

DigiTimes: Less than a week after the iPad launched, rumors are already beginning to swirl that Apple is planning a smaller version (iPad nano?). DigiTimes research analyst Michael Kuo says a 5- to 7-inch version of the tablet could ship by first quarter of next year and will cost less than $400. Its target market will be "consumers that focus mainly on reading and do not have a high demand for text input."
