Geolocation feature warns users if their e-mail account has been recently accessed from a different country.

PC Magazine: Recently, cybercriminals have been running a new type of scam that uses social networks to trick victims into sending them money. They hack into a user's e-mail account and then send that person's contacts messages asking for money.

"Keep in mind that these notifications are meant to alert you of suspicious activity but are not a replacement for account security best practices," said the company.
