LA Times: Symantec has just published a report that ranks 50 U.S. cities according to their risk of cybercrime. In order to assess the risk, it considered the frequency of cyberattacks, the availability of Web access, and the amount of high-risk activity (e.g. making online purchases without a secure connection) that the populations engaged in.
According to the report, the top five most "at risk" cities for cybercrime include:
- Washington, D.C.
- San Francisco
- Raleigh, N.C.
