The popular browser experiences its second zero-day vulnerability in two months.

Network World: Microsoft has admitted that Internet Explorer 6 and 7 are at risk from a previously unknown vulnerability that could allow hackers to download malware onto users PCs.

"At this time, we are aware of targeted attacks attempting to use this vulnerability," Microsoft acknowledged in an advisory.

The company has not yet said when a patch for the vulnerability will be available. Because no one has published an exploit yet, analysts predict it may be May before they release a patch for the security hole.
