The latest Patch Tuesday releases from Microsoft have left some XP users unable to re-boot their computers.

Computerworld: For some Windows XP users, the latest Patch Tuesday releases from Microsoft seem to be causing more problems than they're solving. Several users report that after rebooting their systems, they receive a "Blue Screen of Death," and their systems never fully reboot, no matter how many times they try.

Some users have been able to solve the problem by booting Windows from the installation disk that shipped with their PCs. However, that leaves netbook users out of luck since most netbooks do not have an optical drive.

Microsoft has not yet officially commented on the situation.
