Sun's Chief Executive Tweets His Resignation

Former Sun Microsystems chief Jonathan Schwartz has become the first Fortune 200 CEO to resign in a Twitter post.

NY Times: Industry watchers have been expecting Jonathan Schwartz to leave his position as CEO of Sun Microsystems following the company's merger with Oracle, and today he made it official. In a first, Schwartz announced his resignation via Twitter, with a haiku that read, “Financial crisis/Stalled too many customers/CEO no more.”

Oracle's chief executive, Larry Ellison, has made no secret of the fact that he isn't particularly fond of Schwartz, publicly saying that he expected the former Sun boss to resign.
