Google could soon begin selling applications directly to large businesses.

TG Daily: According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Google plans to open an app store targeted at enterprise users. Already the search giant operates a "solutions marketplace" and an "Android marketplace" which offer apps to its users, but this would be the first store specifically for businesses.

The report says that the store will include a variety of third-party apps, such as security or inventory management applications. Developers who contribute apps would share revenue with Google.
