Adobe Warns of PDF Phishing Scam

Recipients should not click the links in a new e-mail that appears to be an update to Adobe Acrobat Reader.

PCWorld: If you get an e-mail with the subject line "download and upgrade Adobe PDF Reader – Writer for Windows," delete it immediately, warns Acrobat. The new phishing scam, complete with fake Adobe logo and newsletter@pdf-adobe.org address, really downloads malicious code on users' systems.

Users can access the real Adobe Reader software at http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
