IBM Launches a Blackberry Equipped for Collaboration

In an attempt to generate more sales for business users, IBM and Research in Motion have announced a plan to equip Blackberries with IBM collaboration software.

USA Today: On Monday, IBM and Research in Motion announced that they are working together to sell Blackberries loaded with collaboration software to business users. The smartphones will be equipped with IBM's Quickr document sharing app and its Lotus Connections social-networking app.

Several other tech companies are also working to capture the market for mobile devices used at work. Google, Apple, Microsoft and HP have all recently announced plans to market smartphones to business users.
