HP Bets More on Touch Computing, but Forgos Tablet

HP launches a new touch-enabled netbook aimed at businesspeople.

ComputerWorld: On Wednesday, HP launched the touch-enabled Mini 5102 netbook at the Consumer Electronics Show. It runs the touch-enabled Windows 7 operating system and includes Intel's Atom N450 or N470 processors. Aimed at businesspeople, the netbook weighs just 2.64 pounds, and measures 0.91 in. thick. Prices start at $399. Although this is the first touch-enabled netbook for HP, Asus launched the first touch-enabled netbook last June.
