First Nokia sued. Then Apple counter-sued. Now Nokia expands it lawsuit, complaining that nearly every Apple product infringes on Nokia patents.
Network World: Nokia has escalated its ongoing legal battle with Apple by filing a complaint with the US International Trade Commission (ITC) that alleges that nearly every product Apple makes violates Nokia patents. Nokia first started the skirmish with a lawsuit complaining that Apple was using technology for which 40 other companies pay licensing fees to Nokia. Apple then counter-sued claiming that Nokia was violating Apple's patents. If the lawsuits aren't settled ahead of time, a judgment in the case could significantly impact the companies' financial health.
