The unrealised potential of ERP and CRM

A recent poll of The Register readers (including 66 ERP users and 65 CRM users) suggests that many implementations have some way to go before they deliver their full potential.

Only about 10 percent of respondents in a recent poll said their ERP and CRM systems are fully exploited. While some would argue that ERP and CRM implementation is a perpetual process and that it is unrealistic to expect systems to ever be ‘finished,’ the survey does suggest the presence of a lot of unrealized potential, particularly in association with CRM.
